QB Desktop multiple company files to QB online

One QBO account is for one company file. If you have more than one company file with the same tax id, you can use the class tracking or location feature available in QBO Plus and Advanced to manage them. You may need to purchase a 3rd party service to merge data from QB Desktop.

Thanks for the reply.  Our concierge business has a tax ID.  We use the company files to keep track of various clients’ accounts for them.  

It looks like you’re saying we’d have to have a different QBO account for each client which is more cost prohibitive than buying a new version on QB Desktop.
