Hi shcstone2-gmail,
QuickBooks Online is a program used by business owners all over the world, and I know it's extremely important to make sure you've signed up for the right account for your region/country. I'll be happy to expand on what Fiat Lux- ASIA shared in the thread to make sure you have the right information.
With the QuickBooks Online Accountant program, the product region you select when you first sign into the account becomes the home region of the account which can't be changed. To have a QuickBooks Online account with a different country/region, you can create a new QuickBooks Online Accountant account with your preferred country/region from the available product regions. To create the new account, you'll need to use a unique user ID. You can find more information on that using this link: FAQ: Product Regions in QuickBooks Online Accountant.
If you decide to choose the option of creating a new account, you'll be able to export some company information to the new account. This can be done by clicking on the Gear icon on the top-right corner of your QuickBooks Online screen, select Export Data under the Tools column and you'll see the reports and lists you can export to an Excel file. To import data into a new QuickBooks account, click the Gear icon, select Import Data under the Tools column. You can import Bank Data, Customers, Suppliers, Chart of Accounts, Products and Services, Invoices, and Bills. Importing and exporting your data won't help in moving everything from one account to the other, but it can move the main components of your account into a new company file.
I'll be here to help if you need any more assistance.
