Hi there -arahmcg,

Connecting your bank account to QuickBooks Self-Employed is great way to streamline the process of tracking your income and expenses. Ensuring that you're able to log in to your account through QBSE is an important step, so let me help you out.

It sounds like you've done some troubleshooting of your own by double-checking your online banking credentials, but if you still have trouble connecting, reaching out to Wealthsimple may be the solution. Their support team can let you know if there's additional security info or questions required before you can connect with QuickBooks.

If you're still unable to connect, you should attempt some browser and internet troubleshooting steps to see if the images and files stored in your browser's cache are causing the problem. Here are some steps you can try before attempting to connect your Wealthsimple account once again.

If this doesn't quite hit the mark either, you have the option to Manually import transactions into QuickBooks Self-Employed. This involves downloading a .CSV file of your transactions from Wealthsimple. From there you can navigate to the Gear and choose Imports. Pick the option to Import Transactions, upload your .CSV file, and hit Import. You can also Manually add transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed by entering in the details in the Transactions menu. Check out the article for step-by-step instructions for the device you're using.

It's important to note that when you manually import your transactions as a .CSV file that you may experience duplicates. You're in luck though, because it's not difficult to Handle duplicate transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed. You can easily Exclude or delete transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed by following the steps in this article.

If you need further support, you'll want to Contact QuickBooks Self-Employed Support so that you can chat with an agent and get to the bottom of this. You can reach out in-product by selecting the Assistant and typing and entering "talk to human" in order to speak with an agent.

I know you'll get this sorted in no time. Have a great week!
