QuickBooks Online doesn't automatically create suppliers or customers. Since this is unusual behavior, I feel you'd benefit more by contacting our support team outside of the Community as we would need a bit more information from you. They'll be able to verify your account details in a secure setting, as well as view your screen to better assist you. You can reach them by following one of these methods:
Schedule a Callback or start a Chat: click (?)Help in the upper right > type and enter "Contact support" into the QB Assistant > click Contact Us > explain your situation > click Let's Talk > choose Get a callback or Start a Chat.

You are not alone! Here's another post with similar issue and I am in the same boat.
Can you please post in there to get the momentum. Hopefully QB support chain gets off of their lazy a**** and does something about it. I've been spending days with them to get their bugs fixed and they do nothing about it. And we are paying them "for making our life easier"! Disgusting..
