I am missing the "add the following information" part when starting to reconcile an account. How do I get that back?

Hi there,

Reconciliation is the key to keeping your books organized and up-to-date. This process is made so simple in QuickBooks Online, especially if you're taking advantage of the bank feed tool. I'd be happy to explain why you're not seeing the "Add the following information" section when you go to reconcile.

The page that asks you to enter the information for Ending balance, Endling date, and any service charges, will only appear when you first reconcile an account. If you're resuming a reconciliation, you're not going to see this page. Instead, you'll see a green button that says Resume reconciling

If this is your first time reconciling an account and you're not seeing the page that prompts you to enter information, I'd recommend clearing the cache and cookies in your web browser. These are the stored Internet files that build up over time, and they can cause bugs in the program. Here's how to do that: How do I clear my browser cache and temporary Internet files?

You can also try using Google Chrome's Incognito Mode. This is a private window that runs independently from the rest of  your browser. Here's how to do that: Browse in private

If you're still missing this page on your reconciliation, please reach out to our tech support team. I want to make sure this gets resolved for you as quickly as possible so you can get back to work.

Have a great day.
