Mastercard keeps disconnecting with 324 error: We can't find this account at your bank

I have an ATB business account with an attached Mastercard. When I connect my bank account and log in, I am able to see that I have a Chequing account and a Mastercard account. I am able to connect them to my QB account. After the accounts connect "successfully" I get an error that says: We can’t find this account at your bank Let’s make sure the right accounts are connected to QuickBooks. This may take a few minutes. (324)

Mastercard keeps disconnecting with 324 error: We can't find this account at your bank

There are several reasons why you're getting the 324 connection error, Dylan.

Sometimes this happens due to the following reasons:

  • Your bank or credit card company changed the account or moved it to a new server.
  • You changed the account name or other information on your bank or credit card company's website.
  • Your bank or credit card company issued a new account or credit card.
  • You closed your bank or credit card account.

You can update and check your connection to make sure that software runs smoothly. I've outlined the steps below:

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online.
  2. Go to Transactions, then select Bank transactions.
  3. Click Update.
  4. If you still see the error, look for a banner on the Banking page. Select the Check connections link and follow the prompts provided to fix the issue.

But if you have a new account number, or got a new card, and wants to keep your old account, disconnect accounts connected.

  1. Go to Transactions, then Bank transactions.
  2. Select the tile for the bank account.
  3. Click the pencil icon, then select Edit account info.
  4. Choose the Disconnect this account on save checkbox.
  5. Hit Save and Close.

Once done, connect or link the new accounts to your chart of accounts.
