My client's bank and credit card feeds are connected under banking but I can't access the accounts to reconcile them. How do I fix this?

Hi there,

Reconciliation is an essential part of proper bookkeeping. Making sure your QuickBooks Online account matches your bank statements is the best way to stay organized and on top of things. I'd be happy to explain what may be happening with viewing your client's accounts.

The first thing to check is your user access. If you're the accountant, you should have all the necessary permissions to access this area of the account. There's certain user types, however, that are limited to viewing certain pages (such as a Reports Only user).

If you're able to access the Banking page as the accountant, you should have no trouble viewing the connected banks. Try clearing the cache and cookies in your web browser to remove any stored Internet files that may be causing loading issues. Here's how: How do I clear my browser cache and temporary Internet files?

If you're still not able to see the bank accounts, try using an Incognito window in Google Chrome. Here's how to use it: Browse in private.

If the issue persists, please reach out to our tech support team so we can further investigate what may be happening.

Have a nice day.
