Hi hbpierce,
It's great to hear from you again. I know being able to download your transactions from your bank is an important time saving feature in QuickBooks Online. I want to make sure that you can continue using this option.
When you open a website on your internet browser the site downloads cookies into your cache. Eventually, it gets overloaded and needs to be emptied. Otherwise, it begins disrupting communication in internet-based programs, like QuickBooks Online.
Use these simple steps to troubleshoot your internet browser:
As you complete the steps you may be required to sign out or sign back into your QuickBooks Online account. Check your banking tab to see if the issue has been resolved.
Sometimes your bank will make updates that require you complete a new sign in to re-establish the link to the bank. In these cases, you'll often get an error on the banking page and the accounts won't be updating at all. You can still import your transactions using a CSV file downloaded from your bank, and this articles explains the process in detail: Format CSV files in Excel to get bank transactions into QuickBooks.
If the connection between the bank and your QuickBooks accounts can't be reset the issue may have to be escalated to our engineers. To start that process reach out to a support agent.
