With the advanced tracking based on each individual transaction, the sales tax centre is easily one of the most powerful features offered in QuickBooks Online. The best way to unlock its full potential is by ensuring each transaction is recorded with the correct tax code. The Out of Scope tax code essentially tells the tax centre to ignore a transaction, unlike Zero-Rated and Exempt who are governed by law.
