Have you checked your audit log to be sure?
Hi carriemspam81-gm,
Welcome to Community! Having emails sent to your customers from an unknown email address in QuickBooks Online is definitely quite concerning. I'd be glad to help!
First and foremost, I recommend checking the Company information in your settings. Here's how;
1. Log into your QuickBooks company as the Primary Admin
2. Open your Settings ⚙ and select Account and settings
3. Hit the Edit
4. Review the Company email and Customer email address and make any changes as you see necessary
5. Enter your Company phone number
6. Hit Save, then Done
I also suggest following these steps to enable multi factor authentication (MFA) for logging into the account. Here's how;
1. Click on your profile badge in the top right of your QuickBooks account
2. Open Manage your Intuit Account
3. Select Sign in and security
confirm the User ID and Email address
4. Click on Phone and enter the correct phone number to receive text messages to verify your account
In addition, you can review the activity in your account by going to your Settings ⚙ and select the Audit log.
