It's a pleasure to see you in Community! QuickBooks Online Payroll has the features you need to pay your staff with confidence. It's great to hear that you're reinstating an employee and I'd be glad to assist!
Here's how:
1. Open Payroll and then Employees from the left menu
2. Use the ▼ dropdown menu and select Inactive Employees
3. Select the Employee name to be reinstated
4. Scroll down to the Employment Details section and hit Edit
5. Enter the Status, Hire Date, Pay Schedule and any other information as you feel necessary
6. Hit Save
For any other information updates, hit Edit beside the appropriate field, make the necessary updates and be sure to Save the changes.

When I click on the employee name, it oppens their employment details, but there is no status field to edit. Any other suggestions?
