Ok - I now see a Box 45 to the right of employee number. Is that all this is?
All this time I have been looking for a box comparable to Box 40 and Box 85 which is where the employee paid and company paid premiums are reported. Is there no $ amount to go into a box 45? Is all that is happening now a report of the category each employee falls into?
Hi Annie H1,
There isn't an amount that needs to be entered in Box 45 as these codes are not categorized by QuickBooks. Follow this link to learn more. In addition, there currently isn't a report that shows the Dental plan code associated with each of your employees. You'll need to review this on the individual employee profiles. However, with this being a new addition, you can submit a suggestion to the Development Team for future updates and feature enhancements.
I hope you find this helpful!
Hi Trish
I think it would have been helpful to have some graphics or something of where this information would appear and what format it would take. Any other time I've needed to report to CRA on deductions or whatever, they want an amount. I'd say this whole thing has been really poorly presented by CRA and by QB. Bit frustrated here for sure!!
