I'm trying to pay my employees by direct deposit, but it stuck on "Waiting for approval". I"ve approved it in settings payroll -> direct deposit. 5 times.

I'm not sure what's wrong. There's no confirm test transaction button to press, and no transactions. No errors either. I'm at a loss.

It's important you're able to set up direct deposit so your staff can get paid faster. Don't worry, I'll be glad to steer you on the right path so you can get the resolution you need. QuickBooks offers an efficient payroll module that makes it simple to manage your payroll and it's essential you get to reap all its benefits. 

 

If you haven't received the test transaction you can retrigger the test transaction again by following the steps below:

  1. Click on the Settings ⚙️ icon, > Payroll Settings.
  2. Under Payroll, navigate to Direct Deposit.
  3. Click on Yes! Let's get started.
  4. Click the Edit button next to the Bank Account field.
  5. Enter the following number sequence into the bank account field: 123456789.
  6. Hit Save and close.
  7. From here, return to your Payroll Settings from the Gear icon and select Direct Deposit.
  8. Click on the Edit button next to the Bank Account field.
  9. Re-enter the correct bank account number and make sure you save the changes.
  10. This should re-trigger QuickBooks Online to send the test transaction to your bank. I recommend waiting another three business days for the transaction to appear on your bank account.

Report Team is useless!  They have no information to give when it comes to getting approved or whatever it is , for direct deposit!    I have been waiting now, going on the 3rd bi weekly payroll.  I do not want to talk to someone who has to verify our account 3 ways to Sunday and then can't let me discuss this with the department that actually handles setting up direct deposit!  Absolutely worthless

This is what I get from "direct deposit"  and have for weeks!

There is no way to override this and NO ONE at QB's seems to have a clue on how to get us hooked into it!
