Hi austinbertone-gm,

Welcome to Community and Congratulations on the new business venture!  Being able to track mileage is a great feature to use for business miles and vehicle expenses.  With QuickBooks Online you can use the mobile app and let us handle the rest.  I'd be happy to help you with this.

If you're planning to claim your vehicle expenses and mileage at tax time, I'd suggest reaching out to an accountant for advice.  If you don't already have one, you can go to My Accountant (left menu) and click on Find a Pro to help.

If you're tracking your mileage manually and not currently using the mileage feature in QuickBooks Online, you can click here for step-by-step instructions to get started.

If you have any further questions, or require additional assistance, please feel free to reach back out, we'd be happy to assist.
