There are two ways to adjust the Year-To-Date (YTD) balance in QuickBooks Online:
- Invite your accountant to your company and have them make the adjustment for you.
- Contact our QuickBooks Workforce Support team directly.
If you’ve invited your accountant, they can adjust the payroll by following the steps in this article: Edit employee and employer payroll taxes in QuickBooks Online Accountant.
If not, you’ll need to contact our QuickBooks Workforce Support team. They can collect the necessary information, ensure data is entered accurately and on time, and correct the YTD balance for you. You can get their support hours using this article: Get help with QuickBooks products and services.
Once the adjustment is complete, you can review the Payroll Summary or Payroll Detail reports to confirm that the YTD wages now reflect the correct amounts.
