I would like to create a new company as a copy of my original company to work as test environment. Is it possible? How can I do this?

Hi f-martins,

Creating a second company opens up an opportunity to have two companies which you can simultaneously manage at once. QuickBooks offers endless possibilities when it comes managing your accounts. I'll be happy to give you a hand.

Based on the info you've described, I'd recommend using our powerful test drive account which provides all the necessary tools and resources you'd have on a normal account. Check it out here. Test drive QuickBooks Online. If you'd like to sign up for another account you can import and export your data from one account to the other. Here are some helpful articles which show you how and what data you can export/import on your accounts.

From here, I recommend importing the data into the the account. Here are some helpful article which show you how to import your data into the new account:

Let me know if this info helps. I'll be here in case you need anything else. Otherwise, have a great rest of the year!

@f-martins

Open a new blank QBO account

https://quickbooks.grsm.io/Canada

then you may have 2 options to duplicate your data:

1. Utilize a migration tool

2. Purchase a 3rd party service
