Welcome to Community!  It's important that your QuickBooks Online Payroll information is being received by the correct party.  I'd be happy to assist!

 

There are two areas in your QuickBooks Online account, to review and make any necessary changes.  Let's start with your payroll settings.  Follow these steps to update the email address;

 

1. Open your Settings ⚙ and select Payroll settings

2. Click on the Edit  in the Contact information section

3. Make the necessary changes

4. Hit Save

 

In addition, you'll want to ensure the previous bookkeeper is no longer  listed as a user on the account.  Here's a helpful guide for your reference, to assist with user management in QuickBooks Online.

I can't find how to delete my last bookkeeper email address, he keeps on receiving the payroll emails.

Thanks for reaching out about your payroll. QuickBooks Online Payroll is a great tool able to assist you in paying your employees for the hours they've worked. I can point you in the right direction for assistance with this.

 

For assistance in removing this email, I recommend reaching out to the support team outside of the Community They'll be able to verify your account in the system to be able to make sure that the email in question is removed for notifications regarding payroll. You can reach them using these options:

 

  • Schedule a Callback or start a Chat: click (?)Help in the upper right in QuickBooks Online > type and enter "Contact support" into the QB Assistant > click Contact Us > explain your situation > click Let's Talk > choose Get a callback or Start a Chat.
  • Phone: dial 1-855-253-1536
  • Social media; Facebook or X / Twitter
