QHSF not available

QHSF is calculated automatically on my other QBO online accounts.  The one not working is a QBO account I opened over 11 years ago.  I've asked for this feature to be added for years now.  Not sure how to get this done, this is a basic Payroll calculation and required in Quebec.

QHSF not available

Hi there robert-button-64,

Thanks for reaching out about your employees. QuickBooks Online Payroll is a great tool able to help you pay your employees. I can provide some information about the QHSF deductions.

One reason why it would not be deducted would be if the employee was set up with an exemption for that deduction. To see if this is the case, go to the Payroll tab, then Employees. Click on the name of one of the affected employees, then scroll down to the Tax withholdings section to Edit. In Tax Exemptions, make sure QHSF is not checked, as if it's selected here, it would not be calculated on payroll.

If you have any other questions, or need further assistance, feel free to reach out here.

QHSF not available

Hi Alex,

Thank you.  QHSF is an employer-only contribution, employees do not have to contribute.

Our Estimated QHSF Rate 1.65 is easily available under our other QBO account (for another company) – Under Quebec Tax Info:

The Quebec Tax Info section is not part of our other QBO accounts.  I understand not all QBO are running the same version, and this is something I asked for years to be part of my version.

Payroll processing should be all the same, as this is a key and crucial component of the service offering.

Hope this clarify why I posted this.

Thank you

p.s. I've been asking for this  for about 10 years now
