Once a paycheck is created and payroll is processed, QuickBooks Online does not allow you to change the assigned bank account directly, Charlott62.
You are correct that you can edit the paycheque details, but the bank account cannot be changed after the paycheque is issued. However, if the paycheque was processed as a direct deposit, and the funds have already been transferred to the employee, you cannot delete or adjust it yourself.
To fix this issue, you will need to contact our QuickBooks Online Payroll Phone Support Team. They can make backend adjustments to correct the account without affecting the actual transfer of funds. They may void the paycheque in their system and guide you on re-entering it correctly.
