Trying to verify my bank for payroll and received the 2 small deposits in my account, i got an email from QB with link to verify but link will not work. And suggestions?

The link sends me to a page that says “We’re sorry, we can’t find the page you requested.” Has any one else encountered this issue and if so how did you resolve it?

Let's walk through some troubleshooting steps to help you verify your direct deposit test transactions after your initial setup, bk50.

If you see the "We’re sorry, we can’t find the page you requested" error when using QuickBooks email links, don’t worry. You can still complete your bank verification without the email link. The best way is to skip the email and enter the amounts directly in your payroll settings in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Two small debits of less than $1.00 (CAD) each are charged to your account as a test within 2 - 3 business days. To verify these amounts, follow the steps below:

  1. Go to the Settings icon and choose Payroll settings.
  2. Select the edit icon next to Bank accounts.
  3. Click Verify your account. This option becomes available 24 - 48 hours after the bank account information is entered.
  4. Enter the two test transaction amounts in boxes (less than $1.00) and enter the cents only, without a dollar sign. (for example, 47 for $0.47)
  5. Press Verify.

If you enter the amounts incorrectly more than twice and get locked out, please contact our Live Phone Support. They can help unlock your account or verify it for you.
