Run payroll is not working... I entered my new Visa information but I am in read only version for some reason.

Performing some basic troubleshooting steps can help get back on track accessing your QuickBooks.


Let's refresh the account by signing out and logging back in. If you continue to see the read-only view, reenter the billing information using the InPrivate Browsing or incognito mode.


This is an internet setting that prevents browsing history from being stored. Here's how to access for each browser:

 

  • For Internet Explorer or Firefox, press Ctrl + Shift + P.
  • For Chrome, press Ctrl + Shift + N.
  • For Safari, hold down Command + Shift + N.
