Used quickbooks payroll to process january payroll. not showing up in register??

Hello qbdt_woodlandter,

 

Welcome to Community!  QuickBooks Online Payroll provides the ability to ensure your payroll expenses are mapped correctly, keeping your books balanced.  I'd be glad to assist!

 

To set the account mapping for QuickBooks Online Payroll, follow these steps;

 

1. Open your Settings ⚙ and select Payroll Settings

2. Click on Edit  for the Accounting section

3. Open the Edit  to set the accounts for Wage expenses

4. Use the ▼ dropdown menu to make your selection for each item

5. When finished, hit Save

 

Next, you'll want to review the employee paystubs, to see where their payroll expenses were directed.  Here's how;  

 

1. Open Payroll, then Employees from the left menu

2. Click on Paycheque list, under Run payroll

3. Select the employee to review the details

 

Once you've determined the account, you can create a journal entry to move the funds.
