How do I change the Billable Hour Rate?

Hi there, 

Welcome back to the Community. It's important you're able to change the Billing Hour Rate and I'll show you how to adjust that. 

First, you'll need to access your Projects by clicking Projects from the left navigation menu. From here go to All Projects and click on Hourly cost rate at the top right. I'll attach an image below for visual reference:

Welcome to the Community family! It's important to me that you can change or adjust the billable hour rate of your employees. You can easily do so by selecting the employee of your choice in the Employee contact list report and edit the Billing rate section as needed. To access the report, simply click on this link when logged into QuickBooks Online: https://app.qbo.intuit.com/app/reportv2?token=EMP_CONTACT

I was able to get to the report from your link but cannot seem to get to the report on my own from the dashboard. I don't seem to have a report with that name on my list? Please walk me through from on my dashboard. 

Also, that does seem like the long way to get home...is there not a more obvious way to get to change the rate?

Hello snazzyconstr, I'm glad to hear you were able to access the report to complete your task. The Employee contact list report can't be accessed directly from your report list nor from your dashboard, which is why I provided a link to make it easier for you. Another way to access this report is to first open the Customer contact list report (you can access that from the Reports menu) and change CUST in the URL to EMP, then hit enter.
