Thank you for your help so far. I've been following the steps for Record your total daily sales in QuickBooks Online.
But STEP 6 DEPOSIT YOUR DAILY SALES is causing my bank account to add the funds again. It's not matching with what was actually deposited for the same amount on the same day, but duplicating the transactions. Should I just delete the STEP 6 transactions?
thanks
Hi there stockmgr,
It's important that all your transactions be entered correctly in order for your books to be well-balanced. QuickBooks Online is a great tool able to help you keep track of your sales and expenses so you can see your company's profit. I can point you in the right direction for assistance with these duplicate transactions in your bank.
For the best assistance with these transactions that appear twice in your bank account in QuickBooks after doing the 6th step, I recommend reaching out to the QuickBooks Online support team outside of the Community. They'll be able to view your screen with you during the process of creating these transactions so that they can see the exact cause of the duplicates, as well as provide assistance in avoiding having them appear twice. You can reach them using these steps:
Schedule a Callback or start a Chat: click (?)Help in the upper right > type and enter "Contact support" into the QB Assistant > click Contact Us > explain your situation > click Let's Talk > choose Get a callback or Start a Chat.
If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out here.
