Hopefully I understand what you are trying to do:
If you are paying for something using a credit card and that credit card is not linked to QB (to automatically pulldown your monthly transactions) you record the payment made on that credit card by creating an entry to record the payment made.

Pay Down Credit Card
Enter the details of the payment and SAVE.
Ensure you have selected the correct credit card and the account that was used to pay (for instance your CAD Bank).
You have clicked a link to a site outside of the QuickBooks or ProFile Communities. By clicking "Continue", you will leave the community and be taken to that site instead.
