Good day
In printing cheques, it is common practice to print the payor (issuing party) of the cheque in the upper right hand corner of a cheque. However, i have been unable to find a setting in QBO that supports this capability.
Can I be pointed to the menu / setting where this can be enabled?
Thank you
Hi TLapolla.
Customizing your experience is what QuickBooks Online is all about. I'd be happy to go over templates and how to customize them.
Currently the templates that you can modify are Invoices, Estimates and Sales Receipts. At this time cheques template can not be changed as they are set up to work with printable cheques. If this is something that you wish to have the ability to modify I recommend sending feedback to our development team. You can send feedback by following these steps:
Once they receive the feedback they'll look into ways to implement it in future updates.
If you have any questions let us know and we'd be happy to help!
Nick
We are using printable cheques that work well with QB Desktop and the payor name is printed on the cheque. It is a wonder to us that this capability was not carried forward to QBO
