Invoices posted are disappearing

I entered about 20 expenses in the last few days.  Today I went to check on one of them and it's no longer there.  I did a search and it's completely disappeared.  I went back over each of the 20 expenses and have discovered that about 6 of them are nowhere to be found.  This is alarming to say the least.  I don't want to have to double check each entry I make to make sure it's in the system.

It's vital all your transactions be correctly entered so that your books can be well balanced. QuickBooks Online is a great tool able to help you keep track of sales and expenses so you can see the profit of your company. I can point you in the right direction for assistance with missing transactions.

 

One cause for transactions not appearing would be browsing data. These temporary files can accumulate in your system and can affect navigation in any cloud-based software like QuickBooks Online. Here are some steps to resolve issues caused by browsing data:

 

If the error persists after trying these steps, I recommend reaching out to the QuickBooks Online support team outside of the Community. They'll be able to view your screen with you in a secure setting in order to troubleshoot the error further with you, as well as collect the necessary information to notify the engineers. You can reach them using these options:

 

Schedule a Callback or start a Chat: click (?)Help in the upper right > type and enter "Contact support" into the QB Assistant > click Contact Us > explain your situation > click Let's Talk > choose Get a callback or Start a Chat.
