The day you incur an expense is the date that must be recorded in your books. It's essential for you to be able to enter the date in the field provided quickly and easily. I'll help you navigate to the correct spot for entering a date on your expense.

1. Click the + New icon, and select Expense.
2. Look at the upper right-hand corner of the page, and you'll see a field titled "Payment date".
3. With your cursor, select inside the Payment date box to enter the date of the expense.
4. Fill out the other required fields.
