Thanks for joining us here in the QuickBooks Community. You've got a great question and I want to make sure you're able to get the information you need regarding how to manage your properties and the taxes.

 

For these kinds of questions, I recommend speaking with an accountant or bookkeeping professional. As a tech support agent, I don't have the training to back the kind of response it would take to steer you down the right path for this, but it's important to me that you're able to do so accurately and as easily as possible.

 

What I can tell you is QuickBooks Self-Employed is the simplest version of the QuickBooks software and depending on what you're looking to do may not be quite the fit you need for managing these kinds of details. Keep in mind too that the other version of QuickBooks—Online and Desktop—have the ability to easily connect with an accountant by being able to add them as a user or being able to send a company file for them to work on. I'll leave you with a couple of links about that.
