It is correct that QBO cash flow planner does not work with multicurrency? If so, is there a workaround, app or alternative solution that works with QBO?

Potential new client interested in QBO, but needs both multicurrency and cash flow planning.

Hi there arne-marko-bella,

Thanks for reaching out about the cash flow planner. QuickBooks Online is great tool able to help you keep track of sales and expenses so you can see the profitability of your company. I can provide some information about the cash flow feature.

As stated in this article, the cash flow planner isn't compatible with the multicurrency feature, so as soon as multicurrency is turned on in the QuickBooks Online account, the cash flow planner can no longer be seen. I can see that being able to use the cash flow planner with multicurrency would be a feature that you'd like to see in QuickBooks Online. I recommend leaving feedback in the system by clicking on the Gear icon, then Feedback. The comments made in that section are taken into consideration when designing new features for the software.

To see if there are any third-party apps available to be connected to QuickBooks Online to accomplish the task you're looking to do, you can go to the Apps tab in your QuickBooks Online, or check out this page. If using the website, make sure your page is set to Canada, and use relevant search terms to find apps. You can click on the apps to see some information provided by the developer of the app, as well as their contact information for further questions about the apps, and reviews left by users of the app to help you find the best app for your business.
