Welcome to the Community. It's essential to assign the correct contact your transactions in order to keep your books up to date. QuickBooks Self-employed offers the ability to simply create and send invoices to your customers. I'd be glad to point you in the right direction regarding the contact list from the android app.
The contacts in your QuickBooks Self-employed are customers that you have entered into the system. You can view all customers when you create an new invoice from the app.
If you're using QuickBooks Online, you can view the customer list by clicking the Menu ☰ and then select Customers.
