Hi there,
Welcome to the Community. It's essential you're able to use the mileage tracking feature so you can bring your finances into perspective using QuickBooks. I'll be happy to share more info so you're on the right track.
In order to successfully track the mileage, you'll need to have the app running in the background. I recommend checking to see you have the app running in the background while traveling. I also recommend troubleshooting this issue using the following article that shows you how to: Fix mileage tracking issues in the QuickBooks Online mobile app.
Let me know if you have other questions. I'll be here.
I've tried all the methods several times but it doesn't change anything.
I setup everything properly and I see a notification while I'm driving that auto mileage tracking is tracking my trip.
But I can't see any of my trips on the mileage page.
Hey there, donisong802-gmai.
Thanks for taking the time to join us here in the Community. I'd be happy to provide some information.
Sometimes browsing data accumulates and prevents the software from doing what it's supposed to do. I recommend trying these troubleshooting steps to see if it helps resolve the issue.
1. In the app, try to refresh data.
2. Restart or try another device
3. You can try uninstalling and reinstalling the QuickBooks Online app.
If the problem persists after trying the steps above, I recommend contacting the support team outside of the community. They have the appropriate tools to escalate the situation if they deem it necessary. You can contact them by following these steps:
Schedule a Callback: click (?)Help in the upper right > type and enter "Contact support" into the QB Assistant > click Contact Us > explain your situation > click Let's Talk > choose Get a callback.
If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us here.
I already reinstalled QuickBooks more than 5 times.
If I press the auto mileage tracking notification on my phone it says that the app need location information. But location is already on and QuickBooks has all the permits.
I called the service centre 3 times.
And the first person said "that's weird, it should work. Try again and call again if it doesn't work"
And the second person asked me what is auto mileage tracking and the third person said there are other people having same problem so just wait until QuickBooks fix it.
It's been more than 2 weeks and auto mileage tracking is one of my main reasons why I'm using QuickBooks.
Please do something.
Thanks for your quick reply donisong802-gmai.
