- If you’re using QuickBooks Online, follow these steps to sort documents alphabetically:
- Open the Workpaper folder where your documents are stored.
- Look for a Sort option (usually available in the toolbar or menu).
- Choose Sort by Name or a similar option to arrange the documents alphabetically.
- If you’re organizing files and folders directly on your computer:
- Open the Workpaper folder in Windows Explorer.
- Go to the View tab and expand the View ribbon (double-click on it).
- Click Sort by, then select Name to sort files alphabetically in ascending order (A to Z).
