QuickBooks Online Plus allows you to track your inventory in an easy and straightforward way. Having the option to add inventory items is a great tool, as you can set reorder reminders and add various default settings for quick entry on your sales forms. Sometimes your inventory will change. I'll happily explain how you can make all of your inventory items inactive.
At this time, there's no way to permanently delete your inventory items, but you can make them inactive so they no longer appear in your inventory list. This is great, because you always have the option to reactivate the items, or refer to their details at any time.
To make your entire inventory list inactive, follow these steps:
1. Click the Sales tab on the left menu, then select Products and Services.
2. Check off the boxes next to all inventory items (be aware that services, non-inventory items, and bundles appear in the same list, so be careful not to check off boxes by mistake).
3. Click the small funnel icon, and change the status to Inactive.
