You can check in the Work tab to ensure you have the correct email for project task notifications, Wassim. Let's navigate through your options. 

 

Follow these steps:

 

  1. From the left menu, select Work.
  2. Click on Notifications.
  3. Note that the primary admin has full access, while users can only access email notifications.
  4. Select Edit to adjust your notification settings for assignments, due dates, and more.
  5. After making changes, select Save and then Done.

 

To edit a project Instance  or Series and check if it is assigned to the correct person, follow these steps:

 

  1. Go to the Work tab and select the project you want to edit.
  2. Select Edit details dropdown. Then click Edit series.
  3. Under the Assigned to tab, select the correct member and the email will be sent to their respective address.

I did verify all that before and I see the assignments and the notifications in QBO itself. All notifications options are enabled and emails are correct for me and 2 other staff members. It seems I have a global problem not only on my account or my email but all the three accounts. I've been using the project tasks for a year now and emails just stopped. Is it still working for you? i.e. assign a work / project task to yourself / your colleague and see!

Thanks for the additional info, Wassim. I've replicated the situation however, it was working okay on my end.

 

Since this is the case after verifying that your designated emails are correct, it's also a good idea to double-check your junk folder in case the notifications are categorized there. It's possible that your server is blocking emails from Intuit's domain, or that your email settings are filtering them as spam.

 

After confirming this but the issue persists, connect with our Live Support team to personally and securely check your account so they can see why this is happening:

 

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Select the Help icon, then Contact Us.
  3. Type your question in the designated field, then Continue.
  4. Choose either Chat or Callback for support.
