Charitable Donation receipts

Thanks for taking the time to reach out to the QuickBooks Community. It's important to know how to create receipts in order for your books to balance correctly. I can provide some information about Charitable donation receipts.

 At this time, there isn't an option to create a Charitable Donation receipt in QuickBooks Online. There also isn't an option to remove the "Bill to" from the sales receipt. I see that being able to create a Charitable donation receipt is important for you and your business, I recommend leaving feedback, you can do so by navigating to the Gear icon and selecting the Feedback option. These comments are viewed and considered by our developers as they create new feature for QuickBooks.

I also have the same issue and need donation receipts, not sales receipts; and would like to not have any corporate language. We don't have sales, but do need to track income. Has there been any progress in QuickBooks Online capabilities seeing as how this was originally posted over 1 year ago?

At this time, the program does not offer the option to create a charitable donation receipt. I encourage you to find a third-party app to complete the task you're looking for. You can click on the Apps tab on the left navigation menu >and then select Find Apps.

If you'd like to include the option to create charitable donation receipts in QuickBooks, I recommend that you send us Feedback by clicking on the Gear icon at the top. This is sent to our Development Team to consider for future updates.

So in summary, we were lied to even though we asked if we will still have all of the functionality we had with QB Enterprise prior to transitioning to QB Online.

I just tried to click on Feedback under the Gear icon and it goes no where.
