Converting data from Sage-Pastel Partner to Quickbooks online

Hi there userjrice,

Making sure your books are set up correctly is an important step to start the bookkeeping of your company within your QuickBooks account. QuickBooks Online is a robust tool able to help you visualize your business's finances. I can provide some insight.

The way to import data from another system would be to navigate to the Gear Icon, then select Import data. You'll see the types of information and lists that can be imported from another software such as Sage-Pastel Partner. It would need to be in either an Excel or CSV file depending on the type of information. Select which info you want to import, then search your computer for the file. Here are a few articles about importing data into QuickBooks Online:

How to import Journal Entries

How to import Invoices

How to import Products and Services

How to import Bills

How to import Chart of Accounts

How to import Bank Transactions

I hope this helps you get your data imported to QuickBooks Online. If you have any more questions, feel free to reach out here.

Thanks for that callout, @userjrice! I've just gone in and corrected the links for Alex, and they should be working now. Give them a shot! You can also check out this article for a general overview of import options: Common questions about importing data to QuickBooks Online

As Fiat Lux also mentions, you can also use third-party tools or services to import information. Apart from what they've mentioned, you can also review the options available in the Apps tab of your QuickBooks Online account.

Don't hesitate if you have further questions.
