Good morning,
Can you tell me why suddenly the 2023 program says "desktop has reached the expiration date and will no longer open" I thought the desktop product was still accessible?
Even if I synchronize my license, or activate again nothing changes. Under CTRL+1 it now says "not activated".
Although yesterday everything went perfectly, I did not receive any notice (email or in the program).

I have just received a similar message for the Desktop Enterprise version for 2019.
We are still using the 2019 version as we have several utilities that use the QBFC13 SDK interop services to integrate with other enterprise software, and do not wish to risk being forced to rebuild all of these utilities. When i asked QB previously about issues that we may run into with upgrading, there was no concrete answer as to whether or not we were likely to have problems.
Is this a warning that the QB utilities will stop running, or that service support and QB add-ons will no longer be accessible? If the latter, we are not interested in upgrading at this time, but the message is not clear as to what action will occur.
Thanks,
Jim
I'm just checking with accounting on that.
When I look at the My Licence Information in the Help menu, it indicates that the licence last refreshed on Jan 15, 2024.
I tried the CAMPs link, but I don't seem to have the required information attached to my account.
Jim
You might consider letting the counter expire and try reinstalling your license later. If the counter is still expired, you can try using the trial version of QB Desktop 2019 as a workaround.
Hi jim227,
It's essential that your QuickBooks Desktop product is updated to the latest release, so you have the latest features. I also suggest running the QuickBooks Tool Hub, to fix common errors. In addition, it's also important to make sure your payment information is accurate. You can manage your QuickBooks Desktop account with the Customer Account Maintenance Portal (CAMPs), by signing in at camps.intuit.com.
Should you experience the same outcome, please don't hesitate to contact our QuickBooks Desktop Customer Care team at 1-833-317-2226. They'll be happy to work with you directly and assist you with accomplishing your QuickBooks goals without delay!
Feel free to reach out again, with any other questions or concerns. WE would be glad to assist!
Thank you for your response.
However, we have been satisfied with QB 2019 and have integrated it with other enterprise software using the QB foundation SDKs supplied by QuickBooks for that purpose. I have not received any indication from QuickBooks that if we transition to the latest version that these integrations will not fail and require extensive work, cost and and potentially lost time to reimplement which the Quick Tool Hub would not address.
I am not trying to be difficult, but we are not specifically interested in any of the latest features. We have a functioning system currently and wish to continue with that.
I need to know how we can avoid losing that.

You can use the trial version of QB Desktop 2019 for good as the last resort.
