direct deposit test transaction

Hi,

We are setting up the direct deposit for payroll.

There was a zero balance on our bank account when connecting a business bank account.

The test transaction was not success at that time because its zero balance.

There are funds in our bank account now. But there are no test transaction option on settings.

How we can do the test transaction again?

We need do the direct deposit payroll this week.

Please support us to do the direct deposit.

It's important you're able to set up direct deposit so your staff can get paid faster. Don't worry, I'll be glad to steer you on the right path so you can get the resolution you need. QuickBooks offers an efficient payroll module that makes it simple to manage your payroll and it's essential you get to reap all its benefits. 

 

If you haven't received the test transaction you can retrigger the test transaction again by following the steps below:

  1. Click on the Settings ⚙️ icon, > Payroll Settings.
  2. Under Payroll, navigate to Direct Deposit.
  3. Click on Yes! Let's get started.
  4. Click the Edit button next to the Bank Account field.
  5. Enter the following number sequence into the bank account field: 123456789.
  6. Hit Save and close.
  7. From here, return to your Payroll Settings from the Gear icon and select Direct Deposit.
  8. Click on the Edit button next to the Bank Account field.
  9. Re-enter the correct bank account number and make sure you save the changes.
  10. This should re-trigger QuickBooks Online to send the test transaction to your bank. I recommend waiting another three business days for the transaction to appear on your bank account.
