Hi, @schedulewillcinging. The possible reason is a data synchronization within the QuickBooks Online (QBO) Android app. This is often caused by a recent app update.
New releases can sometimes break the link between the mobile interface and the automated tax engine. To ensure that your data will populate correctly, begin by refreshing your app data. To do this, tap on the Menu icon (either three lines or dots) and navigate to Settings. Select Refresh Data and click Yes. This will prompt the app to re-sync your tax settings from the web version.
Another effective solution is to uninstall and then reinstall it. This process ensures that you are using the latest version of the app, which is often enhanced with new features and improvements. To do this, select the app you want to remove, and follow the prompts to uninstall it. After that, visit your device's app store to download and install the freshest version of the app available.
As a workaround, you can also log in to QuickBooks on your phone's web browser. Open Chrome and then go to qbo.intuit.com. Enter your username and password. The tax field tied to your product should reappear and function correctly.
Updates are great until they disrupt your workflows. Give those steps a shot first. If the tax field still won't populate, don’t hesitate to ask for assistance again. The Community is here to support you.
