When adding or selecting an item on your estimate, the system automatically populates the description and amount based on the unit cost and description entered during the item's setup. You also have the flexibility to modify these entries when creating the estimate. If you're unable to do so, I'd recommend making sure your file is running the program properly by following the troubleshooting steps in these articles.
