Format issues in Spreadsheet Sync

I want to do a simple currency format of the data in the raw QBO spreadsheet sync report.  It works for the first 55 rows but not the rows thereafter.
QB Help said that is an Excel issue, not a QBO spreadsheet sync issue.
Has anyone else encountered this issue?

Format issues in Spreadsheet Sync

Hi there,

Welcome to the Community. It's important you're able to navigate the program without running into issues. Rest assured, I'll be glad to steer you in the right direction.

I suspect you may be experiencing a browser-related issue that's causing the issue you've described above. Clearing cache and cookies helps with fixing most browser issues. You can do this by following the steps in this article: Clear Cache and Cookies. I encourage you to give this a try on your browser when you get a chance. In case the issue persists, I recommend getting in touch with our phone support team so they can share your screen and help get to the bottom of this promptly. You can get in touch by dialing 1-855-253-1536 from Monday to Friday between the hours of 9 AM and 8 PM EST.

You're more than welcome to keep me posted on how you make out. I'll be one message away.

Format issues in Spreadsheet Sync

Thanks James for the reply.
Unfortunately clearing my cache does not help, as the issue is happening in my Excel client version, so nothing to do with my cache.
I actually did call QB Help, and when they understood it was a formatting issue they said that it was out of their scope.  They are only responsible for getting the data into Excel, and nothing beyond that.  I take some issue with this however as the data did not get into Excel properly.  The data in question was text, not a number, so one could not use formulas on it, and I had to manually retype it.
If you have any other ideas please let me know.

I'm also looking for help here. My Excel spreadsheet has numbers in the column for "Unit Price" and I keep getting: Unit Price not well formatted

It's just a number. I have tried changing the format to Text, Generic, Amount, and still getting the same error. It won't let me post.

Fixed the issue and I want to document it here in case it helps somebody else.

In my case I was using Excel on a Mac in Canada. I changed to use Excel on Windows in the US and it works.

So, either the Mac Excel didn't work, or the fact that I was in Canada, or both.
