Has anyone else noticed that QBO is a giant dumpster fire?

Me: "OMG, Quickbooks is absolutely terrible at math. Like, this is not even remotely how math works..."

Me: I'd better report this to the QBO. *opens Help dialog, presented with QB Assistant.*
QBA: "How can I help?"
Me: "I'd like to report a problem."
QBA: "I can help you share reports in QBO!!!"
Me: WTF do I do now?!!?!? 🤦 (other than click "No")

I continued out of curiousity. QB Assistant broke badly and was offering me random "deeplinks"... Clicking on a "deeplink" automagically submits it as if it's your next question... What a complete pile of garbage!

Hi rentl. I hear the challenges you have experienced in reporting this issue in QuickBooks.

It seems like you're looking to connect with one of our live experts to report your concern.

Before connecting you to our live expert, allow me to clarify the amount displayed in the image you provided regarding the sales tax.

The total of $3,175.74, which includes amounts from Collected on Sales, Adjustments, and minus Paid on Purchases, represents the net tax you need to report for the period.

The amount of $1,175.74 represents a prior balance on your GST/HST account, while the installment of -$2,000.00 reflects a payment you've already made to the CRA.

The initial amount owing reflected previous QuickBooks records. Please note that the adjusted balance of $2,351.48 will only be factored into the net tax after the filing process is completed.

Regarding QuickBooks Assistant, please note that it is an AI-powered tool designed to provide answers to common questions and guide you through tasks directly within QuickBooks.
