Hi there,
Thanks for reaching out in the Community. I'll be glad to answer your questions from here.
At this time, there isn't an option to export invoices out outside of QuickBooks. You can use third-party apps to export your invoices and I encourage you to check out some these apps using this link: www.apps.com. Once you click on the link, you'll be brought to a site where you can enter the keywords "export invoice" and you'll see a list of results. I recommend picking an app which matches your business needs.
Give this a try and keep me posted on how you make out. I'll be on standby in case you need anything else. Otherwise, enjoy the rest of your week. :)
Utilize the trial period of 3rd party exporter tool.

Hope it helps.
Does this also work on QB Online?
Hi Lavina_L,
Welcome to the QuickBooks Community! I'm happy to see that you've been reading through the threads to find answers to your question about exporting invoices as Excel files from QuickBooks Online. The Community is a great way to learn the ins and outs of QuickBooks Online and a good opportunity to learn from others. I can shed more light on exporting invoices from QuickBooks Online.
Although there isn't a direct way to export invoices from QuickBooks Online, there are a few methods you can consider depending on the level of data you're looking for. For instance, if you're simply looking for a list of invoices, you can export the report Invoice List as an Excel file. All it takes it navigating to the Reports tab, using the search field to bring up the Invoice List report, then export using the export button. This article walks you through running and exporting reports: Run reports in QuickBooks Online
To get a more detailed look at each invoice, there isn't a way to export them as an Excel file, but you can export them as PDFs. This is a bit of a longer process as it means going into each invoice one-by-one. Here are the steps you can take.
The other option to consider is what my colleague touched on in his response: using a third party app to export the transactions as the file type you'd like. To see the apps available for QuickBooks Online, navigate to the Apps tab in your account, then use the search bar to see what's available. If you have a question about an app you come across, you can use the contact details in the App information sidebar when you select an app.
I also invite you to submit feedback about the available options by following these steps: How do I submit feedback? This helps our team see the sorts of features that users are looking for with QuickBooks Online, and our product developers consider the feedback for future updates.
Stop by again if you have more questions. Enjoy your weekend!
The previous QB version we were able to export an invoice to excel. Sad that this has been taken away!! :(
