Hey emmatch,
I'm happy to see you're looking to maximize the power of QuickBooks Online by multi-tasking in multiple companies! Currently, the system is designed to provide a consistent experience for the company you're signed in to. As your session is stored in your browser window, the best way to work on multiple accounts is by using a separate browser for each one (such as Chrome and Firefox). If you have any feedback about this, don't hesitate to submit it directly to our engineers.
Let me know if I can help with anything else.
Open your first QBO on the main browser, second QBO on the private/incognito browser.
I have 7 companies I work with every day. Are there enough browsers out there. So stupid that Quixkbooks did away with on line app
Firefox, Chrome, Edge, Safari, Opera, Vivaldi
Thats 6 and a royal pain in the A**. Still short one. Hopefully a 3rd party app is developed that allows multiple companies and tabs open at the same time......
As I said earlier, you can utilize the main browser and the incognito/private browser. 6 browsers = 12 QBO accounts. Do you need more?
Did not see the incognito thing. how do I do that?
Thanks for posting here again, @howiefish.
I'm joining in this thread to share additional insights with you. Use these keyboard shortcuts to launch a new private window depending on your browser:
From there, open your accounts by going to QuickBooks Online site.
Post here anytime if you have other program concerns or additional questions about accessing multiple QuickBooks Online account. Have a nice day!
