We can guide you on the steps on how to remove duplicate team members in QuickBooks Timesheet, ritu.transcounts.
To delete the duplicate team members, we can archive them so they are unable to sign in and use QuickBooks Time. All their personalized settings will be removed. However, QuickBooks Time still saves the associated data. Here's how:
- In QuickBooks Time, go to My Team.
- Next to the team member's name, select More options .
- Tap Archive and press Confirm.
If you need to archive multiple ones, follow the steps below:
- In QuickBooks Time, go to My Team.
- Choose Add team members and select Import from software.
- Click Spreadsheet (.csv).
- Select Export team member list and tap Export List.
- Open the spreadsheet, and in the active column, change status to archived.
- Save the spreadsheet. If you are using a different spreadsheet program (Excel, Google Sheets, and so on), save the updated file in .csv format before uploading.
- In QuickBooks Time, select Choose File, find the file, and hit Open.
- Press Next and select Import List if everything looks correct for the import.
If you use QuickBooks Online, archiving a team member will only eliminate them from the time-tracking list. However, they will remain on the employee or contractor list in the program.
