Hey thebakeryside131,
Importing data from your cash register sounds like a great way to automate a significant portion of your bookkeeping. There are a few options to consider in QuickBooks Online, and I'll be happy to go over those with you.
Depending on your specific cash register, there may be an app available to help you easily import sales receipts. Using third-party apps allows you to integrate tonnes of unique functions to personalize the QuickBooks experience. Simply head to the Apps section using the menu on the left of your QuickBooks Online account to get started.
If you don't find an app for your particular cash register, the easiest way to record a large amount of sales is using a daily sales receipt. To learn more about this, check out this useful article: Record your total daily sales
Feel free to reach out anytime you want help!
If you need to import the sales data in bulk to your QBO, consider using an importer tool
