Hi there atif,
Integrating your third-party apps and software with QuickBooks Online is a fantastic way to make running your business as smooth as possible, from start to finish. I'm excited to share that QuickBooks Online offers integration with an extensive array of third-party apps that expand the features and tools that you can use. I'll show you how you can find an app to help you integrate Authorize.Net.
From within QuickBooks, navigate to the Apps tab from the left menu. In the search bar, type the name of the software or app that you're looking to integrate. In this case, you can type Authorize.Net. Hit the Enter key on your keyboard to populate the search results. Two apps that I've found that'll help you to integrate Authorize.Net with QuickBooks are:
Start using the app by clicking on the icon from your search results, then select the green Get app now button. You'll be re-directed to the app center where you'll need to give permission to connect the app. Follow the prompts to get set up!
For more information and to find the right apps for your business, you can check out the QuickBooks App Store.
You'll have Authorize.Net synced and working with your QuickBooks in no time!
If you are trading merchandises, utilize an inventory management app as the connector. Otherwise you may explore this connector.

The purpose of the integration is to be able to add a link or pay now button to the QB invoices I send out. What I currently do is create the invoice on QB then go to authorize.net create another invoice with the same amount and send to request payment. Authorize.net is our virtual terminal. We don't sell merchandise. It's billing for services rendered. Does either or those apps still apply?
What kind of business do you run?
Hello there @REBSD and thanks for joining in on this thread. While I can't comment on the tools and features that are available as a result of using the Authorize.net app with QuickBooks Online, I'd like to draw your attention to another way that you can add a Pay Now button to your Invoices in QuickBooks Online so that your customers can pay you using a credit card for the services you render.
QuickBooks Online Payments Canada is the option that I'm referring to. It allows you to charge your your customers' credit cards directly or to add a Pay Now button to the Invoices that you send out when you check off the Cards checkbox. For every customer payment you receive, you'll be charged 2.9% + $0.25 on the transaction. To sign up, use the steps below:
Reaching out to the support for Authorize.net or the team that provides support for the App that you're using to connect Authorize.net to QuickBooks Online will be helpful if you're still struggling with the integration. The apps that I shared in my previous reply still exist, as do a few others. Find these by navigating to the Apps tab within QBO and using the search bar to type Authorize.net. You'll be able to click on each search result to learn more and contact their support team if necessary.
If there's something a little more specific that you're looking for help with, don't hesitate to reach out. I'm only a reply away! Have a great day.
Did you find a solution for your problem? I have the same issue.
Hi remitanywhere,
Thanks for joining this thread. It's essential that you're able to connect your app so that you can get back doing what you love. QuickBooks Online is a great program that offers the ability to simply track your sales and expenses. I'd glad to point in the right directon to connect your app.
I encourage you to refer to the following steps to integrate the app with QuickBooks online. In your account, click Apps on the left navigation menu > under Find Apps, type the name of your app >Follow the prompt to connect the app with QuickBooks.
Let me know if you have any questions, I'll be happy to help.
What kind of business do you run? Some apps for a specific industry (e.g field service) supports QBO to accept payments with Authorize.net
Otherwise, you may need 3 different apps to integrate with QBO:
1. A free invoicing app to have a payment button for Authorize.net
2. A connector to duplicate invoice data into your QBO
3. A connector to reconcile Authorize.net transactions into your QBO
So is there an additional charge to integrate?
Hey there KH_11,
Thanks for chiming in on this thread. The charges/fees will depend on the app you decide to chose. The fees will be listed on the app page in QuickBooks.
