To make sure I get exactly what you need, are you trying to add a Date of Birth (DOB) and Social Insurance Number (SIN) to an existing employee? If that's the case, you can update this information directly from their profile.
Here's how:
- Go to Payroll, then select Employees.
- Click on the name of the employee you want to update.
- Look for the Personal info section, then click Edit.
- Enter the Birth date and Social Insurance number in their fields.
- Click Save.
On the other hand, if you meant adding these details to a supplier, you can enter the SIN in their profile. However, QuickBooks Online does not have a field for date of birth. You'll want to add it to the Notes and attachments section or create a custom field.
