QuickBooks Online provides two options when it comes to setting up stat pay, Gurtej.
You can either set up and use Stat holiday pay when an employee has worked on the statutory holiday, or Stat pay - Average daily wage for employees who didn't work on the statutory holiday.
Follow these steps on how to set them up:
- Open the employee's profile.
- Click Add in the Pay types box and choose Stat pay - Average daily wage or Stat holiday pay.
- Choose Save.

When running payroll, the Stat pay - Average daily wage and Stat holiday pay columns will be displayed.
However, there's no option to set up the item to calculate based on a specific percentage. Instead, you can input the holiday hours for Stat holiday pay and a dollar amount for the Stat pay - Average daily wage into the statutory holiday fields.
